Hittle House is committed to providing specialized therapeutic treatment to Ohio’s troubled youth in a collaborative effort to ensure family reunification or permanency in the least restrictive setting.

With an innovative approach to treatment, residents will learn appropriate self-regulation and behavior management techniques that will lower the risk of re-offense. Caseworkers and Parents are encouraged to be active members of the treatment team to ensure that each child gets the most out of the therapeutic environment.

 

Hittle House maintains membership with the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies (OACCA) and the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).

Our therapeutic services utilize Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Threapy and strengths/needs based practices.

Education

On site education is provided by Hittle House and Lumin Academy. Academics will meet each child's functioning level. Two teachers, an IEP Coordinator and Program Manager are on site daily to provide for all aspects of the educational environment.

Outpatient Services

Hittle House now offers outpatient care for adolescents with problematic sexual behavior in central Ohio. We are a Medicaid and fee for service provider. Please contact our office and speak to Heidi McAfee for more information
